Save a Greek Stray, dedicated to the care and protection of stray companion animals, carried out yet another significant initiative in collaboration with the Municipality of Ilida on November 26th and 27th.
As part of its educational program, “Following a Four-Legged Friend: The World of Pets,” the organization visited a total of 14 primary schools, delivering an important message about the importance of pet care to approximately 1,500 students.
The initiative included interactive presentations and educational materials aimed at raising children's awareness about the needs and care of pets, enhancing their animal welfare education, and promoting the concept of responsible pet guardianship. Through stories and real-life examples, the children learned about the challenges faced by stray animals and the vital role we all play in their protection.
With this program, Save a Greek Stray continues to foster empathy and love for animals. As stated by the organization’s team:
“Investing in animal welfare education is an investment in a society that respects all living creatures. Children are the future ambassadors of this change.”
