If you wish to have reliable and constant reporting on what is happening in your neighborhood, Phoebe is definitely who you’re looking for.
She wants to constantly know what is going on between others, their relationships, and everything.. She will always be there at any mass happening at the shelter to find out what’s going on…she’ll pretend that she just happened to walk by. If you refer to her or ask her why she is once again next to you, she’ll just answer that she needs to be petted. Her ears thought will be 100% monitoring every word that’s being said. Guaranteed!
What happens next is she leaves and tries to find other groups to spy on.
She is the sweet loving gossip-girl of our shelter! She is friendly with everyone and everybody loves her! She might be a gossip girl, but she keeps everything to herself! No information will be leaked!
Phoebe, we adore you!
Our girl Golfo, was found at a Roma shelter along with her puppy-daughter.
This girl has experienced the nomadic way of life and adapts easily to any environment.
Having Golfo by your side, you will enjoy walks, explore new places and meet new people.
Just keep in mind that she needs to be reminded often how much others love and appreciate her.
You will walk alongside her and she will ask to be petted by strangers. She is a sweet, wonderful and playful dog!
Hello!

I was, I am and will always be a seed. Yes, I am not going to be a big dog but just know that with me, you will plant a tiny, wonderful seed that will only give you back love, affection and happiness!
I am Sporos, (seed in Greek) and I am waiting to find a family with whom I will spend my most beautiful times!

One, has to sadly go through big or small tragedies in order to appreciate life again and realize its worth.
Wonder is only 2 years old and has already experienced her own tragedy.
She was brought to us after a car accident in an unresponsive – comma state.
The shelter, the nature, us, the rest of the dogs and everything around her, all look like shadows to her, since she lost her vision. This however does not stop her from living like any other dog. It is hard for one to tell that she is blind, as she does not trip over things, she’s learnt to live and adapt to any environment.
She is very friendly with dogs but a bit hesitant with humans. Once she feels safe though, you will realize that you have the most affectionate and sweet creature to ever exist next to you. The only thing she is asking for is a loving family.
In 2013, the Romanian government passed a law that gave the global animal welfare community goosebumps. In the country, the extermination of all unwanted dogs was essentially legalized, and the images that made the rounds of the world at the time were horrific, with dogs screaming as paints were picked up from the street dragging them as if they were sacks, to be transported to dirty and dark municipal kennels, where they would spend a couple of weeks of hell until they were killed.
A huge global campaign was launched at the time to stop this practice, and save as many animals as possible. From the hell of Romania we had brought about 80 dogs at the time - some of them by us, and some by volunteers who had witnessed the horrors in which these creatures lived.
Ten years later, the only dog still with us is Brown. It is an animal that lived through hell, that came incredibly scared and psychologically damaged, and that found peace, respect and care in the shelter. He remained a dog hesitant and fearful, and we never pushed him. We let him be himself, and just exist among us.
Brown has been fostered with our trainer who had the knowledge to show him in the right way that there is a world outside the shelter. And our sweet boy, despite his fears, slowly learned at this age to live in a house, go out on a leash, and cooperate. This may one day lead him to a forever home, where he will spend his last years as they deserve. Maybe not. We must try.
White with a little bit of brown…this sweet girl reminds something like yogurt with honey..Tender, loving and with her cute pointer breed characteristic face.. ..you cannot help but love her immediately..!
A beautiful girl with sex appeal just like Tokyo from the beloved series.
Despite her hunter- dog instincts she can very easily get along within a family and become its member. Show her some love and affection and she will be entirely yours!
Enjoy!
