ROZALIA

ROZALIA

Rosalia was sent away from a church yard and where she had found shelter until she came to ours a few months ago, because she was staining the white marbles with her blood. Obviously exhausted and starved she was diagnosed with bleeding tumors on the breast and heart murmur where she had a succesful surgery.

Today she is striking poses on camera like a real diva to remind us all the gracious origins of her race and the fact that as the time goes by, the wisdom and the beauty that lies beneath us features.

She is over 10 years old, she has cataract, heart disease and selfless love for every human, even after the pain they caused her.

ROCCO

ROCCO

He has been living in the shelter for six years, actually all his life, since he was a puppy.

Days passed into weeks, weeks passed into months, Rocco is now an adult dog who's scared of anything new...

Rocco needs some work and attention in order to overcome his fears, and he will manage to do so, as long as he knows that at every step, you will be there for him, if he needs you.

Watch the story of one of his siblings who has been adopted, it might help you understand what the adoption of such an animal entails.

PUKA

PUKA

Puka came to the shelter when she was just a few weeks old with her 9 siblings and her mom (Daya). Puka was always the funniest of those 10 balls of fur who were born on the street,. We don't know whether it's her ears, which are neither up - nor down, her raised eyebrows, or the two wrinkles on top of her head, that give her this cross expression as if something is constantly bothering her. The truth is however, that in reality, nothing bothers her at all. She is a 2 year-old girl, who is constantly learning, maturing and waiting patiently for a loving family to embrace her uniqueness. She spends her days playing with her brother Rocco and receiving obedience lessons from her elders. And let us assure you... Puka is a great student!
