In a deserted, uninhabited small island, somewhere in the Aegean sea, in a place where abandonned and forgotten animals were trying to survive , Penelope was struggling to raise her newborn puppies. Rescue came with a group of volunteers who tried hard to to collect and protect the ones still alive and transfered Penelope to the shelter, where she could raise her 5 puppies in peace.
Her babies have been adopted but our Penelope is currently getting a treatment since she is suffering from adult heartworms. Once her therapy is over, she will be ready to find the home she deserves! Until then, she can only be adopted virtually
Oh! We forgot to mention a few words about our Penelope...but I think we are only going to stick to 2 words that discribe her perfectly: Simply WONDERFUL!
