Ghalina was found in the military camp of Avlona half dead. She was very sick and injured by barbed wires on her leg and her eye, which unfortunately she later "lost". All these unfortunate events didn' t change her inner goodness and she still remains an incredible dog, with great behaviour who is looking for a home.
If we had to choose only ONE animal that needs to leave the shelter, it is this one. An incredibly anthropocentric animal, who adores people, who accepts everything, who trusts and who loves. He really loves it. She gives you her heart in carte blanche, as soon as she sees you first, even if she has never seen you before. It is an amazing dog, that you handle, sprinkle it, bathe it, take it for a walk and have it by your side without effort. You trust her and she trusts you, just.
Animals like her suffer in shelters. They are by nature made to live with people and for people. To learn from them, and to do things with them. Our sweet Lupi, as we affectionately call her, should be the only animal in the house. He will be your dog and you will be her man. He will never make friends of dogs, because he does not want to. She doesn't need the dog company, and she will never miss it.
She will go out for walks with you and be happy, she will not know other animals on the walk, she will not get to know your friend's dog or the neighbor's cat. She will live only for you, and so she will be happy. She really is an extraordinary creature, and she really deserves a life as she dreams of it.
Lupi is looking for a home and family. Even if you can't adopt it yourself, share it and help her find what she needs and what she deserves.
You know this kind of grandmother, that you look at her and think "wow, I bet in here youth she was a tough cookie", but now that she has grown old, this bold attitute has been transmuted into a grandmotherly sweetness/?
Theopoula is this type of elderly dog.
She sits like a good girl when she thinks she will gain something, she loves walks and company, her old muzzle emits an incredible loving aura, and yet at times, without her doing almost nothing at all, you can see the strong and fearless dog she once was.
Theopoula remains dynamic, despite her age, she is very social, very cooperative, very tender and very human centered.
She could very easily go to a home and spend the rest of her life there.
She used to live with her best friend, Sophia, and they were lie two pees in a pod. Sophia recently died, adnd Theopoula was left alone. Not that she changed at all. Nothing has changed, she is the same dog she was when Sophia was alive. But seeing her now, makes us think that she will porbably die in the shelter too, and this is sad. She really deserves a home and she will be very happy there, for the years ahe has left.
Although my name is Perseus, I m as smart as Odysseus. You ll see my glance and I ll be given a chance.
It might have not been possible to exchange glances, but it was love at first sight...
English pointer Probably one of the most tender girls we have. Active and playful. Anthropocentric like all hounds!
She spends her day playing with her best friend and chasing balls.
