DUNCAN

DUNCAN

He suddenly "appeared" in a village one day, along with his brother. A four-month-old baby, weak and matted, he was lying in the middle of the main road as if it were the most comfortable part of the world.

And why wouldn't it be comfortable? Since he was in the village, among people. That's how dogs think you know.

That's where he felt safe, as he was lying down, in front of the cafes. He would go with this look, these eyes, this style and this muzzle, and wag a tail to every passerby. After greeting and greeting until he got exhausted, and his joy was gradually cut off, because his kindness was not rewarded but punished.

In less than two weeks he realized that in order to survive he must not be seen, but hidden. He started looking for places without people to feel safe. How unfair and how hard it is to mess up the uncinditional trust of a baby, a baby born to love people.

Duncan has a soul full of love, and he is one of the dogs that this love is seen on their face and body and it just cannotbe hidden. He left the place where he was abandoned before his pure soul got dirty, and now he thinks that the indifference and kicks were a mistake. He forgot about them.

We adore him. We adore him so much that we don't want him to stay with us much longer, we want him to leave and go to his family.

SCRATCH (reserved)

SCRATCH (reserved)

Whatever you want to do, Scratch will follow you, and he will do it with pure and simple dog joy. He is a pure, cheerful, good dog.

His head fits within a child's hand, his body is skinny and fit, his coat velvety and his heart too.

He is a dog with whom we have laughed a lot, in various occasions, because this joy in combination with his round eyes and his squeak make you want to laugh. He is a bit like a cartoon at times.

But he is also a very tender and good-natured creature, who wants and has all the skills to be a good pet dog, he is communicative, cooperative and above all a faithful companion and friend.

Scratch loves, trusts and believes in everyone and everything. In his tiny body hides a big heart, and he will be very happy if this huge heart of his, is devoted one day to his own family.

He is vaccinated, neiutered and healthy.

LITSA

LITSA

Litsa is a classic Greek hound, with long funny ears, long nose and this black and tan combination in her fur, characteristic of the hounds of Greece.

With dogs like Litsa, our grandfathers used to go hunting, and they still do. Generations and generations of such dogs have lived here, worked, spend their lives chained to barrels and sheds. And most of these dogs still live this way.

Such a life might have been expected by Litsa. She would grow up like this, work, age, and perhaps at some point she would come into our hands as an elderly, sick, and scared dog.

She has no idea how luvky she is, that she escaped from such a life, and came to us only five months old, fresh, happy, and as crazy as she must be for her age, as carefree as she should be.

She is a loving and cute puppy, she has no worries, no hesitations, no imprints from the life for which he was intended.

MONIQUE

MONIQUE

If you like ears, but you also like whiskers, and you've imagined the ideal dog having a combination of both but you think it doesn't exist, uh well..it does exist.

Monique may look and sound French, but she is actually a Spartan, and no matter what happened to her in the public pound of Sparta,  it did not affect her at all, did not touch her, did not mark her.

She is a young and incredibly sweet dog, who you caress and look you in the eyes while her crude whiskers and eyebrows shimmer differently, depending on the light.

She has a freshness of her own, she is kind, sweet doggie, cheerful and tender. She is the dog that you want to have next to you, that you want to stir her whiskers and keep telling her "what a beautiful dog you are Monique. And what a good dog. And how much I love you"

DEWEY

DEWEY

Around February, a tiny dog, Daisy, had come to us, along with her three babies, Huey, Louie and Dewey.

All three were like little dolls, so cute as if they were fake, and growing up they continued to look unreal, and at the age when they began to look like dogs and not dolls, two of them were adopted.

One of the three, Dewey (and mom) was left behind. Of the three, he was always the one who looked the most like a duckling, with his nose a little more raised forming an upside-down curve between the edge of the muzzle and the forehead.

Of all three, he was the one who always looked at the lens, since he was a baby. He looked intently, as if he knew this was what he had to do.

Dewey today is a sweet puppy, who runs to meet you as soon as you appear in the shelter, who rejoices and plays, and who, when you hold a treat, sits like a good boy, and looks at you, with that look he always had, that of the good boy.

Pooh

Pooh

Pooh is the puppy that if you wanna mess with his hair, get sucked in and have him sit on your lap for hours as if he's stuck with glue, he has to know and trust you a little bit.

If he does not know you, he has this attitute that looks as if he is playing hard to get, because he does not know you well, and when you caress him he is like those little kids that a distant aunt suddenly meets at a family gathering and catches them and kisses them and squeezes them, and they sit still and quiet until the torture is over.

He is a very sweet puppy, which really looks shy and hesitant, and this combined with his floppy ears and his hair that is soft as cotton, is a combination that can drive you crazy.

Pooh is about four months old, and is looking for a home.
