Julie was born in a warehouse. Her mom Flery was found there by volunteers. She had just given birth to three puppies, and she had a rope tied so tightly around her neck that it had cut through and almost reached her carotid artery.
The entire family was taken to the vet, where Flery cared for her babies until they were weaned while simultaneously treating the wound on her neck.
Julie and her siblings were raised with lots of love, both by their mom who was wonderful and very protective, and by us and the kids at the vet.
After she was weaned, she came to the shelter with her two brothers.
He is a sweet puppy, very social, with short legs and an incredible cuteness.
