Lois (reserved)

Lois (reserved)

This is Lois. Lois is like a penguin dressed as a clown. It has a small, soufling head on an oval body, which as it goes down the more it opens, until it seems to spill onto the floor. In addition to her eyes, which are as if someone has painted them around her because she was going to a masquerade party, dressed as a harlequin, she also has a smile that forms on the edges of her lips, and makes her look like she has just eaten a lemon cup that soured her but at the same time she liked it.

The more stressed she is, the more she smiles, and Lois is often stressed. The closer people get, the more stressed they get. And her training is slow and funny, like her, and consists mainly of what you see in the photo. That is, nothing seemingly, but the very important essentially. Inside the room we are four people too, and she learns to coexist without fear.

Yes we want to zoom it in, no it doesn't do yet. Dogs like Lois we have a lot. We didn't put her up for adoption for a while because she was not ready for a house. But she has reached a point in her training where she can be functional in a home.

She will need time and space in the begining, and she needs an owner with some basic understanding and maybe some experience.

Dogs like her are in great danger of being lost during the first weeks of their adoption, because anything can scare them, and the owners sometimes don't understand the precaustions that need to be taken.

One of her most impressive moves is the way she gives her paw. She gives it to you, you pet her belly, and then she gives it again and again. It's her thing. It's her way of coping with stress when she is close to someone, and it's the cutes thing about her.

Batida (reserved)

Batida (reserved)

Batida had come for spaying when we were at our 8th action in Filippiada in 2023, and she would dance inside the crate every time she saw us, happy and dancing even more.

She was a tiny little dog that we would take out of the crate for a bit, and she would dance around the room with all the mischievousness and charm you can imagine. We couldn't leave such a dog on the street again, so of course, she came with us to Athens.

She continued to dance at the shelter and gives kisses and cuddles to everyone, both people and dogs.Batida was adopted quickly, but unfortunately returned after two years. We don't want to mention the reason as it concerns very personal family matters. She was returned to us in tears, and it was a very difficult decision made for the dog's well-being.

Batida is a wonderful little dog, truly wonderful.

She is excellent at home, she is clean, incredibly sweet, affectionate, and carries within her the joy of the world.

Not the overwhelming kind of joy, but the light-hearted joy that makes you want to spend time with her.She truly deserves to find again what she has lost. She is incredibly social and friendly with all dogs and all people, and she loves with all her being.

Jason (reserved)

Jason (reserved)

Jason is a dog whose soul is as beautiful as his appearance.

What you see in him when you look at his photos, this innocence and sweetness that comes out of his face, that's also in the character.

It is a very kind, sweet and tender dog. He is very good with other animals and excellent with people.

He will love you from the first moment, he will smile at you, he will come for caresses, he will come with you for a walk, you will have the desire to take him and leave.

It is like a cloud of joy and softness that will beautify your life.

We met him in the public pound of Tripolis, where he was slowly fading away neglected. He came with us to Athens on May 22nd, weighing only 16 kilos. He is starving, but is gorgeous and finally safe. He deserves the best home, and we'll make sure that he finds it.

Eva (reserved)

Eva (reserved)

When she is happy, Eva smiles with her whole face, sweet and pure.

Her smile means only joy and nothing else, nothing complicated or complex. Pure joy. And Evaki is a dog that delights in the simplest things.

A walk, for example, and a little attention, and although she may be hesitant at first, within the first three minutes she will smile and let go of the moment.

And when she's somewhere she doesn't exactly feel comfortable, the smile goes away and in its place hanging faces appear, which hanging her face are very cute, because they contrast so much with the smile she had before, that you get confused and then you just smile, and you give her some time to get used to this new situation she is in.

Which condition can be your home because you just adopted it.

The first time with Eve will be a combination of the above two conditions, until she finds her balance and gets used to the new reality.

She found herself tied to a thick chain in a Roma camp, trying to breastfeed her babies and left in her misery. She looked great, but she was only a year old.

He came to Athens and went straight to hospitality. She learned to live very harmoniously with cats, and was at home quiet and very clean. He'll probably need a little patience with the toilet at first, because when he's in a new place with noise and unfamiliar stimuli, he's scared.

Pocahontas (reserved)

Pocahontas (reserved)

YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE AS WE FELL IN LOVE and sorry for the capitals, but I really will know.

First of all, it is a small and medium-sized dog, which does not match its colors and fur, which are common in large dogs. One the prisoner.

Secondly, it has a forelock right above the nose. Ten hairs that decided to grow for no reason, unlike the rest. ANARCHY on the forelock! (From this it also got its name, it reminded us of the stereotype of the native from westerns with the hair of mohicans)

Her fur?? Her fur has this pattern on the hairs, which alone have decided to look combed, as if they were making water because a comb has just passed over them.

But the most important guys in this dog is THE CHARACTER. Pocahontas is a SUPREME

Basically she is: happy without being guilty, sociable without being burdensome, communicative without being irritating, and when she doesn't do the one command she knows, sit down? Then she takes on the look of a good student and the look glars and the forelock stands upright and sits on a clarinet candle and you want to go out on a mountain and shout from the top STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING, THE DOG IS SITTING!!

An amazing creature is Pocahontas, wonderful in all of her. He came to us from the municipal kennel of Tripoli along with the last batch of skeletonized dogs that the Municipality agreed to deliver to us, and it is as if he lived with us forever.

While searching since we had already had her for quite some time at the shelter for our first photos from the municipal dog shelter of Tripoli, we came across a photo that reminded us of something. The puppy with the number 30 from the count we did in the summer of '23 was this one, and we recognized her by her tuft. That unique tuft of hers.

Pocahontas has been hosted in a home and was excellent. Obedient, quiet, incredibly good, she never caused any damage, and she learned to do her business during her walks from the very first day. Since she is a dog that was born and raised in a shelter, it will be much easier for her to adapt to a home in a quiet neighborhood, so she can more easily get used to walking comfortably in an urban environment without being scared by the movement, the scooters, the cars, and the crowds. Besides that, the dog is exceptional, and she is one of our most well-behaved and sweetest dogs.

When she is very happy and excited, she gives you that dog-like smile, coming towards you and showing you all her teeth.

We adore it and you will love it too. She is healthy and ready for her forever home.

Filio (reserved)

Filio (reserved)

Christmas Eve, on a country road between some villages, Filio was standing and looking at the few cars that passed by. A volunteer on her way to do the last shopping stopped, and Filio hesitantly wagged her tail, bent down, and without any effort the girl picked her up and put her in the car.

She was emaciated, with skin and various abrasions and wounds on her body.

She spent Christmas in the village, and returned to Athens with the excursionists who fostered her during those days. She suffers from leishmaniasis, and is at the vet where he will be treated and we believe she will do very well.

Despite the fact that she was in a very bad condition, weak, with her eyes full of tears and her nose dry and stuffy, from the very first day she left the street, Filio was excellent. She went for a walk in the village twice a day, together with the rest of the family's dogs, she never soiled the house or even the yard, she ate her food and slept in her makeshift house without making a sound.

He is a very good dog, very tender, sweet, obedient, wonderful with people and with other dogs. She loves walks, especially in the countryside, and despite her weakness, she transforms herself into the walk, runs wild, sniffs, explores and is happy.

She is a very tiny setter, very social and very cuddly, and will make an amazing pet that will give lots of love to her new family.
